Monte-Carlo

Monte-Carlo is the district that encompasses the Carré d'Or. It includes commercial and residential areas. This area is very popular with investors and international companies wishing to set up in the Principality. The Monte-Carlo district is the central district of Monaco, one of the most prestigious and well-known. There are many belle époque style buildings mixed with new modern buildings. It alone covers 21.5% of the Principality's surface area with its 436,760 m2. It is a slightly denser district than the average. The Monte-Carlo district offers many opportunities for housing in the Principality, as almost 60% of the built area is dedicated to housing. In the centre of Monte-Carlo is the most prestigious area of the Principality, the Carré d'Or. It is bordered by the Hôtel Hermitage, the Casino de Monte-Carlo, the Opera Garnier, and famous buildings such as the Mirabeau, Les Floralies, the Park Palace and the Monte Carlo Star. The Carré d'Or is an airy district with many gardens and plants, notably those of the Casino. In fact, thanks to the urban project that has completely redesigned the profile of the famous Casino square and its immediate surroundings, a new mixed residential and commercial district has emerged, even more chic and luxurious, with 40 boutiques, 48 rental residences, 5,000 square metres of offices, 3,000 square metres of conference space, an exhibition hall and 500 parking spaces. The latter is called The One.
